Chef Wan

Our impetus in exploring the Chef Wan brand of restaurants, founded by the famous celebrity chef in Malaysia, was the question of how we could portray the experience of dining in story format.

In the initial development of the visual and copy direction for each brand, we had to ensure a clear demarcation between the two, and yet a similar tone of voice that is friendly, warm and welcoming.

The Chef Wan restaurants have two distinct brands:

 

Cafe Chef Wan with local and western fare, and De.Wan 1958, a Michelin Guide awarded Malay cuisine restaurant.

Event Planning, Fame & Photography

Shooting and preparing for Cafe Chef Wan and De.Wan's food photography for social media and other materials is a detailed and meticulous process. Different photoshoot sessions for each season's menu are organised including videos for interviews, cooking shots and more.

The crowds went wild for our Curry Puff Malaysia Day campaign, making news headlines. We obsess over the perfect shot for each dish and in capturing the fun and flair of Chef Wan. With each frame and angle, we push the boundaries of innovative food photography.
